Courtney & Brian’s Wedding @ Moonlight Beach / Firehouse Museum

with one comment

I can think of few better ways to kick off this brand new year than to witness two people exchanging the most heartfelt of vows in a not one, but two kick-butt locations.  Last weekend I had the pleasure of capturing so many great memories at Courtney and Brian’s wedding.  The ceremony was at the lovely Moonlight Beach State Park.  This park sits atop a cliff and overlooks a beautiful, quiet stretch of beach.  It is secluded enough that lookey-loos tend to stay away, but accessible enough that it is out in the open and so easy to reach.  It really is a heavenly little piece of wedding real-estate, if I do say so myself!  Their reception was held at the San Diego Firehouse Museum in Little Italy.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve walked by the Firehouse Museum countless times, and maybe peeked in on your way to a tasty Italian dinner.  It’s on Columbia Street, right in Little Italy.  I never knew they hosted events there!  I would never have thought to consider that location!  But Courtney, being the smart, thoughtful cookie she is, knew it was the perfect place for her and Brian’s reception.  Brian is a dedicated firefighter.  They both loved the thought of infusing a bit of firefighting history into their plans.  I’m so glad they did– their photos came out so great!

I truly enjoyed working with Courtney and Brian.  They were so giddy and adorable the entire day.  So cheers to them, and I wish them a happy new year (and many more, of course) filled with love and new adventures!
